Eating Whole Food Plant Based is a lifestyle change, not a diet, you'll need to be willing to unlearn what you have learned your entire life and trust the process and the science.

Your improved health will be the most important part of this journey, weight loss however is a positive side effect of eating this way. You'll see improved lab test scores, diseases abate, weight decrease, as well as better sleep, more energy and endurance.

It’s the tangible and intangible health benefits you’ll receive, those you can see and feel, and those you can’t. These benefits will far outweigh any changes you may need to make.
You’ll gain both quality and quantity of life, not just one or the other.

Living longer and healthier and being there for your children, grandchildren, fur babies, friends and family for years to come is priceless.
About the numbers… According to a recent survey (2023) about 5% of Americans consider themselves vegetarians, and 3% consider themselves vegans. Whole Food Plant Based is less than 3%. Who wouldn’t want to join that elite group? Eating better than 97% of the U.S.!

Remember how you feel now, because you are going to feel so much better.
Take those before pictures, you'll want to look back and see the difference.
Don’t be afraid to weigh yourself when you begin and on a daily basis, because when you look back you’ll be amazed to see how far you’ve come. With that said, don't concentrate on the numbers as they will fluctuate daily depending on a number of factors.
If you are on any medication(s) you’ll want to notify your doctor(s) you are eating Whole Food Plant Based as amounts needed generally tend to decrease quickly.

if you don’t have any recent test results, have bloodwork done prior to starting if able. If you’ve had it done recently locate the last copy and set it aside. When you have your next testing done you’ll be amazed at how many of those numbers will have changed when you compare the two.
If you have high blood pressure and or diabetes and don't have monitors, purchase them. You'll want to monitor especially if you are on medication. Keep track of your blood pressure, resting heart rate and glucose numbers, this way you can track your progress and you'll have them to show your doctor so they can adjust accordingly.
